In an interview with GQ magazine, Kit Harington, known for his roles in Game of Thrones series and Eternals, has hinted that Marvel may not proceed with a sequel to Eternals, and he himself doesn't expect to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) in the near future.

 

Despite the ending of Eternals suggesting that the characters would return in a sequel, the film only grossed $402 million globally, which is far below Marvel's standards.
