Irplast specialises in producing BOPP, a variation of polypropylene which is stretched, producing a flexible film which increased transparency, durability and processability. The company is delivering flexible film packaging, labels and adhesive tapes for industries including food, beverage, dairy, personal & home care.

The company uses not only virgin raw materials, but also bio-based polymers and post-industrial recycled material. Irplast employs 380 people and in 2023 it had a turnover of €110 million, with 70% of output being exported in +70 countries.  Leveraging its experience in the printing and packaging sectors, TOPPAN will integrate Irplast's technology in its own film business, enabling the Japanese corporate to further enhance its sustainable solutions portfolio.
